AS物理學習的topics包括：

• Physical quantities and units

• Measurement techniques

• Kinematics

• Dynamics

• Forces, density and pressure

• Current of electricity

• D.C. circuits

• Particle and nuclear physics

A-level物理除了深入學習以上AS topic，還會新增以下內容：

• Motion in a circle

• Gravitational fields

• Ideal gases

• Temperature

• Thermal properties of materials

• Electromagnetic induction

而且所有考生都必須學習practical skills實踐能力。

考試形式

AS學生需要在一個考試季中考出Paper 1、 2、3 (Advanced Practical Skills 1或2)。

已經獲得AS成績，并且希望 carry forward成績的同學，可以在相應考試季考Paper 4、5。

選擇線型路徑的學生，需要在一個考試季中考完5套卷子。

Paper 1選擇題，時間1小時15分，占整個A-level成績的15.5%;

Paper 2 AS結構題，時間1小時15分，占比23%;

Paper 3 實驗題，時間2小時，占比11.5%;

Paper 4 A Level 結構題，時間2小時，占比38.5%;

Paper 5 規劃、分析、評估題，時間1小時15分鐘，占比11.5%。
